TfL is committed to ensuring that drivers understand the rules rather than being issued a Penalty Charge Notice.
Drivers misunderstanding or ignoring road signs, driving in a bus lane or parking in loading bays can create congestion or have safety implications for fellow road users.
Income from traffic enforcement and Congestion Charging goes towards improving London's roads and traffic control.
