Refunds and reimbursements

Refunds

You cannot request a refund for unused days in the past, or for single or weekly pre-payments.

We must receive your refund request at least seven charging days before the period you are claiming a refund for. For example, if you have pre-paid the charge for September and it is 1 September you can claim a refund from September 8-30.

A refund request must include a payment receipt or receipt number, or a copy of your V5C registration document (log book) sent to you by the DVLA.

There is a £10 administration charge for refund requests.
