This is due to major station upgrade works.

CHARING CROSS ROAD BUS LANE: From 0001 Saturday 10 January 2009 until further notice, Routes 19 (towards Battersea), 38 (towards Victoria), N19 (towards Clapham Junction), N38 (towards Victoria) and N41 (towards Trafalgar Square) will be diverted between High Holborn and Cambridge Circus via Shaftesbury Avenue (serving additional stops), but not serving Tottenham Court Road Station. MARSH WALL,E14: From Friday 13 March until further notice between 2145 and 0500 on weekdays and between 2145 and 0600 on weekends, apart from Friday 17 April until Monday 20 April and Friday 24 April until Monday 27 April between 2200 and 0500 each night, route D8 will be subject to diversions and moderate delays. This is due to construction work taking place at the site of the new South Quay station.

MARSH WALL: Due to South Quay station rebuild, Marsh Wall will be closed for the duration of the works, which should last until Summer 2009. From Spring 2008 Route D8 will terminate at Millharbour at the present coach stand, which is being converted to bus stand. In Spring 2008 the access from Marsh Wall to Millharbour will be reopened, and buses will turn in directly towards the stand. In the meantime, Route D8 will be diverted in both directions.
